Columnist: Suspend Dirty Dwyane Wade for Elbow to Player's Head

Bob Kravitz, a sports columnist for the Indianapolis Star, believes Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade should be suspended for his “egregious,” “malicious,” and “terrible” elbow to Indiana’s Lance Stephenson’s head in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game.

“There must be a suspension. At least a fine. A big one,” he writes. He continues and, just as Breitbart Sports did, lists Wade’s history of dirty plays:

He broke Kobe Bryant’s nose in an All-Star game.
He shoved and threw down Rajon Rondo, dislocating the Boston guard’s shoulder.
He ran over then-Indiana guard Darren Collison like a freight train as Collison tried to go to the basket.
And that’s just a partial compilation of Dwyane Wade’s dirty plays during his extraordinary but chippy career, all of them happily captured in a YouTube mini-documentary.

He said Wade “threw a Jimmy ‘Super Fly” Snuka elbow into Lance Stephenson’s temple,” and, “if there’s not a suspension — or, at the very least, a massive fine — I’ll be willing to engage crazed fans in the small-market conspiracy talk.”

Granted, Stephenson is the hometown writer for the Pacers, but many who saw the video replay seem to think Wade elbow’s was yet another example of his dirty play.
