New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is believed to be “directly tied” to and has reportedly not been ruled out as a suspect in a murder of a 27-year-old man less than a mile from his home.
Ted Daniel of FOX 25 News in Boston reported on Wednesday that two Massachusetts law enforcement sources said Hernandez drove a vehicle that had four men in it, including the the victim, Odin Lloyd, on the night of the alleged murder. When the vehicle returned to Hernandez’s property, only three men reportedly exited–and the victim was not one of them.
Furthermore, Lloyd had sent a text message to a friend confirming he was in the car with Hernandez and two other men shortly before his death, according to investigators. In addition, forensic evidence at an unspecified “crime scene” supposedly places the vehicle “driven by” Hernandez at that location.
