Report: Hernandez Destroyed Home Security System, Hired Cleaning Crew to Scrub Mansion

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez reportedly destroyed his home security system, smashed his cell phone, and hired a cleaning crew to scrub his mansion in the days after the alleged murder of a 27-year-old Boston man this week a mile away from his home.

Hernandez has reportedly been “directly tied” to the murder and has not been ruled out as a suspect.

According to ABC News, an investigator “close to the case” said Hernandez “destroyed his home security system,” which included video surveillance.

Hernandez also handed authorities his cell phone “in pieces.” Police “also want to know why a team of house cleaners were hired on Monday to scrub Hernandez’s mansion,” according to ABC News.

Police have reportedly obtained another warrant to search Hernandez’s home again on Thursday.
