Hernandez Denied Bail Again

Hernandez Denied Bail Again

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be in jail until his trial starts after he was denied bail again on Thursday.

Superior Court judge Renee Dupuis ruled the prosecution had a “very, very strong circumstantial case” against Hernandez. Hernandez on Wednesday was charged with the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd and pled not guilty. He was denied bail in District Court.

As CBS Sports, notes “Hernandez attorney James Sultan thought his client deserved bail because Hernandez has ‘no prior criminal record of any kind.'” Hernandez’s attorney argued, to no avail, that Hernandez was not a flight risk.

On Thursday, a second man was arrested in connection with the murder and reports have indicated Hernandez may be a possible suspect in a 2012 double murder.
