NBA Draft: Anthony Bennett Top Pick; 2 Hoosiers in Top 4 Picks (Developing)

The Cleveland Cavaliers started the NBA Draft with a surprise Thursday, going for the muscle in UNLV’s Anthony Bennett after a week of teams expressing concerns about his weight gain. Victor Oladipo went second to Orlando and Cody Zeller to Charlotte at No. 4 to give the Indiana Hoosiers two of the top four picks. In between, the Washington Wizards grabbed hometown Georgetown star Otto Porter, who averaged only single digits his freshman season in 2011-12 but was projected by Breitbart Sports and Value Add as the Big East player of the year and delivered. The top four picks are below:

Pick Team Value Grade Player Team Age/Yr Height/Weight
1 Cleveland 8 C Anthony Bennett PF UNLV 20/Fr. 6′ 7″ 239lbs.
2 Orlando 6 B Victor Oladipo SG Indiana 21/Jr. 6′ 4″ 213lbs.
3 Washington 3 B Otto Porter SF Georgetown 20/So. 6′ 9″ 198lbs.
