Report: Hernandez Investigators Were Planning to Interview Man Killed in Car Crash

Investigators in the Aaron Hernandez murder case were ready to interview a Connecticut man who was killed on Sunday in a car accident when his car “flew off the road, split a pole in half and careened into Farmington Country Club.”

According to the Hartford Courant, Thaddeus Singleton III, 33, was married to Hernandez’s cousin, and the car was registered to Singleton’s father-in-law, who is Hernandez’s uncle.

Hernandez pled not guilty last week to the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd and will be in jail until his trial starts because he was denied bail twice.

He is also being investigated in an unsolved 2012 double homicide. Reports have indicated Hernandez may have murdered Lloyd because Lloyd knew details about those murders.

The Nissan Maxima Singleton was driving “shot 100 feet through the air and hit the building 6 feet off the ground.” And “unidentified female passenger was injured in the crash.”
