Former New England Patriots teammates described tight end Aaron Hernandez as a loner who chose to hang out with his hometown friends rather than with his teammates.
According to the Boston Herald, one source said, “out of 53 guys, surely there’s someone you could find to hang out with. Instead, he chose to revert to his network from his hometown.”
Another former teammate said, “No one hung out with him. “No one.” That source said Hernandez “fooled” everyone.
Hernandez has been charged with the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd. He is jail after having pled not guilty and been denied bail twice.
