Incoming Oregon football player Tyree Robinson has been charged with allegedly spanking another man’s girlfriend when she refused to leave his Eugene, Oregon residence last weekend.
According to the Register-Guard, Robinson, one of the top recruits in the nation who is a two-sport star along with his twin brother, was ticketed last weekend and will be arraigned on July 30 because, according to Oregon law, “a person commits the crime of harassment if they subject another person to ‘offensive physical contact.'”
Police spokeswoman Melinda McLaughlin said a police report indicated Robinson wanted the 19-year-old woman to leave his residence and ultimately spanked her in the presence of her boyfriend at around 3 a.m. at his home after an apparent dispute of some sort.
The 19-year-old spanking victim reportedly told Robinson to “stop it” before calling the police.
