OJ Asks for Reduced Prison Sentence

Former football star O.J. Simpson will ask the Nevada parole board on Thursday to reduce his prison sentence of up to 33 years for his role in the robbery of two sports memorabilia dealers.

Simpson was acquitted three decades ago in the murder of his ex-wife and her friend, but was convicted in 2008 on several cases, and is now serving sentences for robbery and kidnapping. Even if he won his request, he would simply start serving his next sentence according to ABC News.
