Manziel Lawyer: Heisman Winner Will Play Because NCAA 'Ain't Our Judicial System'

Johnny Manziel’s lawyer Jim Darnell believes the embattled quarterback will play in Texas A&M’s season opener against Rice because the NCAA is not like the country’s judicial system.

“Well, we’re always feeling like we’re going to be successful. I figure he’ll be the Aggies starting quarterback against Rice on Aug. 31,” Darnell said. “I like our judicial system, let me just say that. And it (the NCAA) ain’t our judicial system.”
