UCLA wide receiver Nick Pasquale was killed on Saturday when he was hit by a car in San Clemente, California.
According to the Daily Bruin, the Orange Country Sheriff Department Coroner said “Pasquale was on foot when a vehicle hit him at 1:27 a.m. on Camino De Los Mares, west of Calle Nuevo in San Clemente.”
Pasquale, 20, “graduated from San Clemente High School in 2012” and “was entering his redshirt freshman season as a walk-on wide receiver.”
He went back home to Orange County during UCLA’s bye week to watch his high school team play on Friday night and was reportedly “wearing a UCLA shirt and talking about the great things the team was doing in Westwood.”
