Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is one of the few power players in our nation’s capital who does not seem to be in love with Washington. Specifically, he is not a fan of its football team, the Redskins.
When asked about whether he roots for the capital team, Scalia replied, “I’m not really much of a football fan. To the extent I am, I hate the Redskins. In fact, I always root for Dallas.”
Although he was not shy about his hatred of the ‘Skins, Scalia was a little more careful about Syria, refusing to comment other than to say he had “strong views” on the subject. The justice was in Houston speaking about Christianity when these comments were made last Friday.
