Houston police responded to a call on Tuesday night at the home of Texans quarterback Matt Schaub to seek protection from a group of angry fans that had shown up on his property to voice their displeasure with his recent play.
Schaub set a record on Sunday when he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown for a 4th straight game.
Angry fans arrived at Schaub’s home on Tuesday night to confront him, with one fan berating him and another taking photos of his family. Schaub reached out to NFL security to help with the situation, and they contacted the Houston police. The fans reportedly left the scene on their own before the police arrived.
