23rd-ranked Northern Illinois Stays Perfect Against Central Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich., Oct. 19 (UPI) — Quarterback Jordan Lynch ran for three touchdowns and threw for another Saturday, powering No. 23 Northern Illinois over Central Michigan 38-17.

Lynch picked up 460 yards of total offense and Tommylee Lewis hauled down 10 passes for 54 yards and a score for as the Huskies, (7-0, 3-0 MAC) who improved to 7-0 for the first time since 2003.

Cameron Stingily wrapped up the victory with a late rushing touchdown.

Cooper Rush paced the Chippewas (3-5, 2-2), passing for 265 yards and two touchdowns.

One of his scoring strikes went to Titus Davis, who finished with 110 yards on five receptions.
