Stanford Basketball Team First to Use Google Glass

Stanford’s men’s basketball team reportedly became the first team to use Google Glass in real-time action during warmups before the Cardinal-White scrimmage game on Thursday at Maples Pavilion.

According to a report:

Earlier in the evening during warm-ups, Stanford became the first team to debut the revolutionary Google Glass product in real-time action. In conjunction with the CrowdOptic platform technology, season ticket holders attending the event were able to view the action through the athletes’ perspective simply by pointing their mobile device in the direction of the court. In addition, they were also able to join a Google+ hangout or view through their own Google Glass.
