The Virginia DMV is investigating a Dallas Cowboy fan’s license plate that reads, “F RG3.” Washington Redskins star quarterback Robert Griffin III is referred to as “RG3.”
A Redskins fan snapped a picture of a Cowboys fan’s Jeep with a vanity license plate that read, “F RG3,” and tweeted the picture at the Virginia DMV (along with DC Sports Bog and the Redskins’ official Twitter account), wondering how such an obscene plate was allowed to happen.
The Virginia DMV then said it would look into the situation:
