Buffalo Fan Who Fell from Upper Deck Loses Job, Banned from Stadium

The Buffalo Bills fan who fell from the third deck of the stadium on Sunday and may have only survived because he fell on another fan has been banned from Ralph Wilson Stadium and fired from his job.

Bills President Russ Brandon said Rob Hopkins demonstrated “irresponsible behavior that … is a violation of our Fan Code of Conduct and cannot, and will not, be tolerated.”

Hopkins worked at Buffalo ad firm Eric Mower and Associates, which said on Tuesday that Hopkins is “no longer employed by EMA.”

Hopkins survived when he fell on a fan in the second deck after he was inadvertently caught on television attempting to slide down the railing.
