Peyton Manning to Critics: 'Shove It'

Critics have heckled Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning throughout his career for not being able to play as well in freezing weather.

On Sunday, after Manning completed 39 passes for 397 yards in leading the Broncos to a 51-28 win over the Tennessee Titans in below-freezing temperatures in Denver, Manning had a message for his critics.
“Whoever wrote that narrative can shove it where the sun don’t shine,” Manning told Denver radio station 850 KOA in an interview after the game, according to the Denver Post.
The Post notes that the Broncos offense has put up  38, 35, 31 and 51 points in four cold-weather games in which Manning has worn a glove. The Broncos are 2-2 in those games.
