Report: Manny Pacquiao Owes IRS $18M

Boxer Manny Pacquiao reportedly owes the IRS over $18 million in unpaid taxes.

According to a TMZ report, “in addition to his $50 million tax fight in the Philippines,” Pacquiao reportedly did not pay over $18 million in federal income taxes from 2006-2010 in the United States.

TMZ provided the yearly breakdown: 

2006 — $1,160,324.30 

2007 — $2,035,992.50

2008 — $2,862,437.11

2009 — $8,022,915.87

2010 — $4,231,999.01

Recently, Pacquiao’s accounts in the Philippines were frozen due to a $50 million tax dispute, and he had to borrow money to buy relief supplies for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan. Pacquiao 

Pacquiao has reportedly made over $300 million over his boxing career, and he fought in Macao against Brandon Rios in his last fight to avoid paying the top tax rate in the United States. He and his promotion company reportedly made roughly $18 million from that fight.
