Cavs Suspend Andrew Bynum Indefinitely, Cancel Fathead Promotion

On Saturday, the Cleveland Cavaliers indefinitely suspended embattled center Andrew Bynum for “conduct detrimental to the team.” They have even reportedly cancelled his Fathead promotion that had been scheduled for Sunday.

It is worth nothing that Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert owns the Fathead company.

“Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum has been suspended for conduct detrimental to the team,” Cavaliers General Manager Chris Grant announced.

Bynum went from the Lakers to the 76ers last year and made nearly $17 million in salary even though he did not play a game. While recovering from a knee injury, Bynum hurt himself while bowling, which was enough to aggravate the injury to knock him out for the year.
