2014 NFL Draft Order

2014 NFL Draft Order

The NFL playoff seedings are set. So is the 2014 draft order–at least for most of the twenty teams that failed to make the playoffs. Baltimore and Dallas flip a coin to determine the sixteenth pick by virtue of their tiebreaker being a tie.

By finishing the season at 2-14, the Houston Texans, a playoff team one year ago, owns the 2014 NFL draft’s first pick, which may be quarterback Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville. The Texans need a quarterback. Bridgewater, by most accounts, ranks as the top pro prospect coming out of college. Despite the Redskins’ second-worst record, the second pick belongs to the St. Louis Rams by virtue of the Robert Griffin III trade two drafts ago.

Here, via Business Insider, is the 2014 draft order (with opponents’ winning percentage listed in parenthesis).
