Colts Punter Accidentally Tweets Half-Naked Photo of Andrew Luck

It may indeed be better to be lucky than good for Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck.

Colts punter Pat McAfee tweeted a photo of place kicker Adam Vinatieri getting interviewed after the Colts 28-point comeback win over the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC wildcard game on Saturday and did not realize a near-naked Andrew Luck was in the background of the photo, unintentionally photo-bombing it.

Luck had one of the more miraculous touchdowns in the game when he recovered a Donald Brown fumble inside the five-yard line and ran it in for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. And he was lucky there was a well-placed cell phone in the photo.

McAfee immediately deleted the photo and said he was “thankful all his parts were covered” and hoped the future Hall-of-Famer would forgive his mistake. This is not the first “incident” involving a Colts quarterback and kicker. After the 2002 playoffs, Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt slammed Peyton Manning in a radio interview for not being a leader, which led Maning to call him an “idiot kicker” who “got liquored up and ran his mouth off.”

One has to wonder if Luck, who values his privacy, was even aware of the photo, given he does not have a social media account on Facebook or Twitter and still uses a Samsung flip phone because he does not want to be connected “24-7” and the smartphone just “gets the job done” for him.

Here is the flip phone that Luck uses:
