On Tuesday, President Barack Obama called Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll to congratulate him and his team on their “decisive” victory in Sunday’s Super Bowl and invite them to the White House.
According to a White House statement, Obama “commended Coach Carroll and his team for a great game, and expressed how exciting it has been to watch the team play all season. The President told Coach Carroll that he looks forward to congratulating him and the team at the White House in the coming months.”
No word on whether Obama and Carroll discussed reports that Carroll may be a 9/11 truther.
