Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-WA) stoked some speculation about a future in politics for Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman by holding up a “Sherman 4 Prez” sign during the Seahawks Super Bowl parade on Tuesday.

Sherman, though, said that politics was not for him in a piece for MMQB in which he said he would rather coach and teach kids after he retires from football so more people can use football to get the opportunities that he may have otherwise not have had having grown up in Compton, California.
