BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Feb. 18 (UPI) —
The Big Ten basketball game between No. 15 Iowa Hawkeyes and Indiana Hoosiers was postponed Tuesday when a piece of metal fell from the Assembly Hall ceiling.

A release from the Indiana Athletic Department said a piece of metal about 8 feet long and 14 inches wide fell into the seats in the northwest corner of the 42-year-old structure. The incident occurred about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday

A women’s basketball game set for Wednesday between Michigan and Indiana has also been postponed.

No makeup date has been announced for either game. The next Indiana men’s basketball home game is scheduled for March 2.
