Former President George W. Bush embraced SMU’s mascot on Wednesday night as No. 18 SMU lost to No. 18 Louisville 84-71 in an American Athletic Conference showdown in Dallas, Texas.
Plenty of luminaries were in attendance as Bush hugged the mustang while at his courtside seats.
Dallas Cowboys players Tony Romo, Jason Witten and head coach Jason Garrett were reportedly in attendance as well as former NFL greats Troy Aikman and Eric Dickerson.
