Kirkland, Washington’s police department arrested Hope Solo Saturday on domestic violence charges. The two-time Olympic gold medalist is scheduled to appear before a judge in Kirkland Municipal Court on Monday.

The arrest stemmed from a 911 call made regarding the soccer the goalie’s behavior at a family gathering. The police report details Solo “hitting people,” including her sister and 17-year-old nephew. The cops noted marks on several party goers and gleaned Solo’s responsibility from interviews. The police arrested an intoxicated Solo at about 1 a.m. Saturday morning.

“There was a big party going on at her house,” Lt. Mike Murray told the Seattle Times. “It was an out-of-control situation.”

Solo’s lawyer denies the charges.
