World Cup: Police Investigating 'Disabled' Fans in Wheelchairs Caught Standing

FIFA and Brazilian police are investigating soccer fans who may be faking disabilities to get prime seats at World Cup games. An editor of a Spanish-language sports publication said police were investigating “suspicious” behavior at the games.

Pictures of women standing up during the game while in wheelchairs have been spreading throughout social media. Police are trying to determine whether some of people pictured may have actually have some legitimate disabilities that requires them to be in wheelchairs.
