Boxing promoter Bob Arum recently suggested that Floyd Mayweather fears a fight with client Manny Pacquiao. The powerful southpaw thinks his nemesis on in the sports pages but not, as of yet, in the ring should fear someone else.
“He should fear God,” Pac Man told a television audience in the Philippines.
The remarks came in reaction to Mayweather’s continued verbal barbs that accompany a reluctance to accept a match with Pacquiao, the natural superfight opponent for the welterweight champion.
“I’m not angry at him,” Pacquiao explained. “I still feel sorry for him because he acts like an uneducated person. It’s pitiful to me and I’m praying for him.”
