Paul Rudd: Party at My Mom's House to Celebrate KC Royals

KANSAS CITY, Kan., Oct. 16 (UPI) –Actor Paul Rudd was so happy about his hometown team, the Kansas City Royals, advancing to the World Series, he invited his fellow fans to a party at his mom’s house.

Rudd grew up in the Kanas City metro area and is a die-hard fan of the local baseball team.

After the Royals game against the Baltimore Orioles Wednesday night, local station KMBC 9 News asked what his plans were after the big win.

“I’m going to be partying at my mom’s house,” he said.

When asked if everyone was invited, Rudd was excited.

“Party at my mom’s house man! She’s out of town, I’ve got a keg. It’s going to be sweet,” Rudd said jokingly. “Five dollar cover!”

The Royals swept the playoffs Wednesday night to go to the World Series.
