The coach of Barcelona, Luis Enrique, revealed that Luis Suarez, banned after biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini in June, will play for the team in Saturday’s Clasico. Enrique would not say whether Suarez would start in the game against Real Madrid.
Suarez received his third multi-game suspension after biting Chiellini. He had previously bitten other players when he played for the Ajax and Liverpool teams.
June’s bite occurred on a bigger stage during Uruguay’s game with Italy during the World Cup. Suarez maintains that he has received professional help to deal with his problem.
Enrique said: “He will have some minutes for sure, how many I cannot say. It is a big thing for him, to join up finally with the team and get some minutes.”
