A’s Trade Josh Donaldson to Blue Jays

The Oakland A’s went all-in in 2014. They look ready to hit the reset button for 2015. 

The A’s traded all-star third basemen Josh Donaldson to the Toronto Blue Jays. Oakland received third baseman Brett Lawrie, pitchers Kendall Graveman and Sean Nolin and minor league infielder Franklin Barreto in return.

Donaldson hit 29 home runs and batted in 98 runs in 2013. A solid fielder, Donaldson batted .255 in 2013.
