Kentucky doesn’t just enter the NCAA tournament as the favorite. It enters as the favorite against the entire field.
Several bookmakers list the Wildcats as even odds or better to win the tournament. Kentucky, which won the SEC tournament with a win over Arkansas, enters the field of 68 with a perfect 34-0 record.
Vegas Insider lists Kentucky as even 1/1 odds. The Westgate Las Vegas Super Book gives them the same chance. Oddsshark pays $105 for a Kentucky win on a $100 bet.
Wisconsin and Duke come in behind Kentucky. They play in the 6-1 to 7-1 range in several boards perused by Breitbart Sports.
To put the expectations for John Calipari’s team in perspective, Vegas Insider pegs Eastern Washington and Valparaiso at 1000 to 1.
