After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picked Jameis Winston as the number one overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft on Thursday, the former Heisman Trophy winner ushered in the good news with an exquisite meal of crab legs.
Winston was all smiles in a photo that he posted on Instagram showing him enjoying his yummy menu selection. Apparently, the picture did not amuse his new team and the Bucs encouraged the soon-to-be millionaire to take the photo down, reported Fox Sports. Winston obliged and removed it.

Winston took the gesture in self-deprecating good nature. On Thurs., same Capt. provided 25 LBs of crab for his draft party. — Rick Stroud (@NFLSTROUD) May 1, 2015
Almost exactly a year ago to the day, the former Seminole received a citation for shoplifting crab legs from a supermarket in Tallahassee. Needless to say, the Bucs hope to put their new quarterback’s past indiscretions behind him and polish up his tarnished public image.
At Florida State University Winston was investigated for alleged rape, but prosecutors did not pursue charges due to a lack of evidence. In 2012 he was questioned regarding a long-running BB gun feud in which he was involved, where he damaged property at his apartment complex. Moreover, a Burger King employee called police on him for repeatedly stealing soda in a ketchup cup, but did not press charges.
