K-State Band Apologizes for Halftime Show Formation Resembling Sex Toy

Kansas State

Officials at Kansas State University have apologized for a misfired halftime show during this weekend’s game that seemed to depict a sex toy attacking a giant Jayhawk.

The Kansas State band tried to create a field formation depicting Star Trek‘s U.S.S. Enterprise attacking the Jayhawk mascot, but fans in the stands were shocked when instead of a starship the formation seemed to depict a giant sex toy attacking a Jayhawk.

Naturally, a video hit Youtube making matters worse for the band.

After social media went wild over the video, the band director and the president of the university went to Twitter to apologize.

The band also posted the schematic for the show to prove that they were trying to re-create the Starship Enterprise.
