#ZaevionDobson Goes Viral Around the World as Sports Stars, Celebrities Pay Respect to ‘American Hero’

Social media exploded in a flurry of farewell messages over the weekend after news reports circulated details of how 15-year-old Fulton High School student and football player Zaevion Dobson shielded three girls as gang members fired into a crowd of children sitting on their front porch.

Tweets from professional athletes and religious leaders poured in promoting hashtags like  and , honoring the courageous young man.
