Trevor Story walloped another longball to add to his short story in the major leagues.

The Colorado Rockies rookie hit a solo shot to unlock an eighth-inning stalemate with the Cincinnati Reds. The Rockies added three insurance runs to win the game 5-1.

Story’s home run gives him eight through his first 13 games. That not only leads Major League Baseball in 2016, but marks the most home runs through the first 13 games of any big-leaguer’s career.

“That’s right where I want to be,” Story told the press of his homer. “Anytime I hit a line drive to center field, I’m very happy with that.”

The win marked the fifth in six games for Colorado. Cincinnati’s trajectory heads in a different direction. The Reds own just one win in their last seven contests.
