Odds for 142nd Running of the Kentucky Derby

Twenty horses race for a mile and a quarter shortly after 6:30 p.m. Eastern for $2 million and a place in the record books.

The 142nd running of the “Fastest Two Minutes in Sports” features no fillies and no prohibitive favorite. Nyquist runs as the favorite at 3-1 , with 8-1 Exaggerator starting just two gates away. With two scratches, eighteen other horses hope to become this year’s American Pharoah.
