All of you who made fun of, hated on, or rooted against Tony Romo over the years, and let’s face it, that’s just about all of you, get ready to feel really, really, really bad about all of that.
Romo spoke on Tuesday for the first time since the Dallas Cowboys officially named Dak Prescott as starter. Instead of merely fielding questions from the assembled media, Romo read a prepared statement in which he laid bare the harsh realities he experienced since his injury in the preseason, his recovery, and then finding out that he had lost his job to Dak Prescott.
