The recent news cycle has not been kind to ESPN. ESPN host Ryen Russillo has been arrested in Wyoming for criminal entry.

Russillo has worked for ESPN, primarily as a radio host, since 2009. Most notably, Russillo worked alongside Scott Van Pelt on the SVP and Russillo Show. Before Van Pelt began hosting his own edition of SportsCenter. Russillo then teamed-up with former Florida State quarterback Danny Kanell. However, that partnership ended when Kanell fell victim to ESPN’s recent round of layoffs.

According to TMZ, “We know 42-year-old Russillo was taken into custody on Wednesday and is still locked up as of the time of this post, according to officials.”

In Wyoming, criminal entry is a misdemeanor offense.

Will Cain filled-in on Russillo’s show Wednesday, and announced that he would do so for the rest of the week, according to TMZ.
