Remember the days when a company used to be able to tweet naked pictures of their employees without fear of repercussion? Yeah, me neither.
Though, in the alternate reality in which the Anaheim Ducks live, this kind of thing is apparently okay.
The NHL’s 100th birthday is upon us, and to celebrate, the Anaheim Ducks decided to have center Ryan Kesler appear naked in front of some women working at their desks. In the video, Kesler told the women he was in his “birthday suit,” because he was to celebrating the NHL’s 100 the birthday.
During the video a black box appeared over Kesler’s lower body.
The Ducks issued this apology for the skit on Sunday, after facing some backlash on social media:
Our tweet posted earlier today was meant to be a lighthearted video celebrating the NHL’s 100th birthday. We realize in retrospect the content of the video may have been insensitive and we have removed the video and apologize.

Seriously, how did this horrible idea ever get to the filming and release stage? How in this Weinsteinian age, did any responsible individual think that this would fly?
Anyway, happy birthday hockey.
