Concussion to sideline Bears' Cutler

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler will miss Monday's NFL game against the San Francisco 49ers with a concussion suffered last Sunday in a loss to Houston.

The Bears said Friday Jason Campbell will start in place of Cutler, who took a hard hit to the head from Texans linebacker Tim Dobbins late in the first half.

Cutler played the rest of the second quarter, but didn't return after halftime.

The Bears currently lead the NFC North division with a 7-2 record.

San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith also sustained a concussion on Sunday, against the St. Louis Rams.

Smith practiced on Thursday and indications were that, barring a setback, he will start against Chicago.
