Fed to launch stress-tests on big US banks

The US Federal Reserve announced Tuesday fresh stress-tests on big American banks in the coming months.
A first round will be conducted under the control of the central bank, followed by a second round by the banks themselves using scenarios set by the Fed, it said in a statement.
