AP photographer Walt Zeboski dies at age 83 Share This: AP 11/14/2012 12:36:03 AM (AP) AP photographer Walt Zeboski dies at age 83By JUDY LINAssociated PressSACRAMENTO, Calif.Former Associated Press photographer Walt Zeboski, who chronicled California politics for 30 years and Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign, has died at age 83.Zeboski's death was confirmed Tuesday by his wife, Virginia Zeboski. She says he died Monday at home in Sacramento after battling pneumonia.Colleagues remembered Zeboski for his journalistic integrity and dedication to the news service. He covered four California governors, starting with Pat Brown in the 1960s, and in 1980 covered all aspects of former Gov. Ronald Reagan's life on the presidential campaign trail.He also snapped iconic images of the era, including labor leader Cesar Chavez and armed members of the Black Panther Party.Zeboski also is survived by his son, Jan, and seven grandchildren. A celebration of his life is scheduled for Saturday.
