UAE Embassy to Host Third Annual Student Forum in Washington, D.C.

WAM Washington, Nov 19th, 2012 (WAM)--The UAE Embassy in Washington DC will convene its third consecutive Students' Forum for UAE students who are currently studying in the United States on November 22-24, 2012 .

This Forum began as an initiative of the UAE Ambassador to the United States, Yousef Al Otaiba, to provide the UAE students with real world tools, information and opportunities to use while in the United States and in their future careers.

The event is also intended to strengthen the UAE students' bonds of convergence with their Embassy in Washington DC and to boost their feelings that their embassy in the United States is and will be ready to help at all times as the leadership in the UAE is looking forward proudly to their coming home safe and successful.

The Forum will be attended by several high ranking UAE officials and representatives offering their mentorship, services available to the students, as well as discuss and address issues and concerns.

In order to inform and better acquaint the UAE students in the US with federal and local laws, rules and regulations regarding their stay in the US, the UAE Embassy invited speakers from some US government agencies dealing with these issues.

The three day Student Forum in Washington, DC will include activities, workshops and a job fair with over 20 UAE based company representatives offering information and on-the-spot interviews, with the intention of leading to possible job opportunities.

The Forum has proven to be a great opportunity in which UAE students in the US can easily get to know and network with their fellow students and their academic advisers, connect with officials from the UAE and meet with top rated UAE companies and government entities.

Remarking on this year's forum, Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba said, "It is imperative that we provide our youth all resources possible to ensure their success. These young men and women will one day be UAE's leaders, it's our responsibility to guide them and provide opportunities to excel in their chosen fields for the good of our country and themselves."
