Khalifa orders airlift of sick citizen from Kuwait

WAM Abu Dhabi, Jan 23rd, 2013 (WAM) -- President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered to send a medical aircraft to airlift an Emirati citizen, being treated in a Kuwaiti hospital after suffering a heart stroke.
A Ministry of Interior statement said Hassan Mohammed Al Ma'mari, 67, suffered a heart stroke during his stay in Kuwait and was rushed to the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital intensive care unit, until his health condition became stable.
An officer from the Ministry of Interior and a medical team from the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi is on board, to bring back the patient for his treatment in the UAE.
The statement lauded the Kuwaiti health authorities for providing healthcare to the UAE national and wished him speedy recovery.
