Amman, Feb 9 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Labour on Saturday signed four agreements with comprehensive care, retail, security, marketing and entertainment firms to train and employ 300 job seekers in various vocational sectors.
One of the deals that were sealed by Labour Minister Nidal Qqtamin during a national employment event currently held at the Royal Cultural Centre, the Arab City for Comprehensive Care will provide 50 jobs in the capital Amman in the areas of nursing, special education, speech and occupational therapy and physiotherapy in addition to administrative and technical jobs.
Two mega malls in Amman and Zarqa and another local company will secure the rest of jobs setting minimum wages plus health insurance for the new recruits. The ministry is reaching out to the public sector after launching a national employment campaign last month to create thousands of jobs nationwide.
