President Hadi meets with UNSC permanent members-ambassadors


SANA’A, Jan. 22 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabo Mansour Hadi met here on Wednesday with the ambassadors of the UN Security Council permanent members to Yemen.



During the meeting, President Hadi expressed his appreciation to Karen Sasahara Chargé d'affaires of the US embassy, Russian ambassador Vladimir Petrovic, UK ambassador Jane Marriott, French ambassador Franck Gellet and Chinese ambassador Chang Hua for their efforts in Yemen’s political settlement based on the GCC-brokered initiative and the UNSC resolutions No. 2014 and 2051.



Hadi also praised the efforts of the international community in supporting Yemen’s security, stability and unity, as well as helping Yemen face its challenges.



The President said that the next phase will be important for Yemen’s transition process and it requires the support and assistance of the international community to achieve the aspirations of Yemeni people through the implementation of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) outputs.



For their part, the foreign diplomats expressed their appreciation for the efforts have been made by President Hadi to lead the transformation in Yemen in such complicated challenges and circumstances, hailing his success to come over those difficulties wisely by completing the NDC with outputs that meet the aspirations of the people of Yemen.



They stressed the international community's support for Yemen and President Hadi at this phase and the next ones.
