Emergency landing for Malaysian plane carrying 166 people


WAM KUALA LUMPUR, 21st April, 2014 (WAM) — A Bangalore-bound Malaysia Airlines flight (MH192) carrying 166 people on board turned back shortly after take off on Sunday night, due to problem in its landing gear.




The flight landed safely at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 1.56am (local time), according to an official tweet issued by Malaysia Airlines (MAS).




According to the media release from Malaysia Airlines, there was a technical problem in the aircraft’s right-hand landing gear, due to which the plane had to make an emergency landing.
