Palestinian President Meets Austria FM


Ramallah, April 23 (QNA) – The President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas met here on Wednesday with the Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurtz, who is currently visiting Ramallah.




During the meeting Abbas briefed the Austrian Minister on the latest developments of the peace process and impasse it faces due to the Israeli intransigence, stressing the Palestinian leadership’s commitment to achieving a just peace based on international legitimacy resolutions for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in East Jerusalem, on the borders of 1967.




He added that the achievement of national unity and ending the internal division will boost the political process as well as the chances of achieving peace. (QNA)
